With so much going on, getting the right information to your tour members can be very difficult. Email chains, text messages, and endless links are always a pain to find. With Information Blocks, we aim to make the process of finding what you need, when you need it, as seamless as possible.
Use cases
Information Blocks are designed to be as flexible as the data you need to share. With features like file uploads and visibility controls with Groups, you can tailor them to meet your needs. Here are some common use cases for Information Blocks:
Riders
Uploading your riders to an Information Block ensures users don’t need to dig through email chains to find what they need. You can enhance the experience by assigning the relevant rider only to the members who need to see it. Here is a simple outline:
General Rider
👥 Band
✅ Private
Technical Rider
👥 Crew
✅ Private
Hospitality Rider
👥 Everyone (default)
❌ Private
Now, the band sees their general rider without needing to see the technical rider, while everyone sees the hospitality rider.
Rooming
Easily get rooming details to your members by creating a block that outlines everyone's details. Assign the block to a group or individual members.
Settlement documents are often required daily. Creating a daily settlement block allows you to notify anyone waiting for the information and provides historical context. At any time, you can look up what the settlement was on a specific day without needing to search elsewhere for it.
Venue information
Getting daily venue information to your users is critical and is one of the most common questions a tour manager receives. Put that in an Information Block, and you can move on with your day!
These are just some of the use cases for Information Blocks. As you can see, they suit almost any need.
